PHONEBOX ACQUIRES WIRE COMMUNICATIONS.
West Midlands mobile communications specialist Phonebox has today announced its acquisition of Wire Communications, consolidating its customer base and geographical reach, and extending customer service and sales credentials, through the addition of North West-based Wire’s resources.
The acquisition, for an undisclosed sum, will see Wire’s office and staff joining the Phonebox brand and operate alongside Phonebox’s 5 existing offices. Wire Communications founder Claire Daniels is to bring her extensive B2B background to her new role as a Phonebox business manager.
The deal forms part of Phonebox’s plans for rapid expansion over the next three to five years, during which time it intends to substantially increase its sales force and complete a number of acquisitions.
